What a gorgeous day!

On the Bolaven Plateau! The weather has been picture perfect – a tad cool in the mornings and evenings (low 70’s) into the high 80’s/low 90’s in the days with low humidity and not a cloud to be seen!

It was a 10-hour day of crusin’ around, so I’m headed to sleepy land, but I did get some beautiful photos of some kids today, so wanted to share a few of those.

Oh, and now that I’ve learned that the country’s name is Lao and that the French colonialists re-named it Laos, I’ve dropped the “s” and returned it to its proper spelling!

Gorgeous indeed, n’est ce pas?

I just finished reading your entire blog and I have to admit that I am very envious of your trip. The pictures and descriptions makes one feel like they are there with you experiencing everything with you. Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa
